Development never stops at MAGNETISiM

MAGNETISiM is evolving every single day.

A dedicated team of students and professors at UPM delivers weekly builds based on the latest MAGNETISiM code, allowing users to test bug fixes and explore new features as they are developed.

Windings configuration

Simulation

  • Harmonic wizard: square, triangle, trapezoidal + modifiable duty cycle harmonics (frequency+amplitude) calculator.

  • Simulations run in secondary thread to avoid blocking the devices.

Results postprocessing

  • Magnetic (R, L) and electric (C) easy postprocessing.

  • Easy-to-use winding grouping.

  • Original and reduced matrix viewer (Z, R, L, Y, C, k…) in table-format and frequency plot.

  • Analytical and simulated circuit viewer: specify V/I/R on each terminal, return V/I on each terminal based on the specified test. Table-format and frequency plot. Funtionality: current distribution viewer.
